Flexible Deployment Model​

V-Series Appliances

The Websense V10000 is designed for headquarters and large branch office deployments.  Web Security Gateway and Email Security Gateway Anywhere solutions can be run simultaneously on a single V10000.The Websense V5000 appliance is for branch office and medium business deployments.  The V5000 appliance supports standalone deployment of Web Security Gateway, Websense Web Security, or Email Security Gateway Anywhere solutions.  Web and email security are not supported simultaneously on a single V5000.

Security-as-a-Service (SaaS)

Websense SaaS provides a fast and easy deployment path for the Websense Hosted Web Security and Websense Hosted Email Security products.  SaaS shifts all security inspection, enforcement, and management processes from the customer’s location to 10 globally available data centres “in the cloud".

With this infrastructure, Web and email security services can be deployed across large and small offices anywhere in the world in minutes.
