RES Announce Free Version of Their User Workspace Management
Express Edition available now for free download and Standard Edition is reduced in price to enable customers with up to 500 concurrent users to gain more functionality before upgrading to Enterprise Edition.
RES Software today announced the availability of RES PowerFuse 2008 Express Edition, a free version of its flagship solution RES PowerFuse 2008.
The Express Edition offers IT managers a simple solution for managing each individual workspace. It is designed to reduce the time and effort it takes to give users access to applications and resources at the right place and at the right time. Through its innovative technology, RES PowerFuse 2008 Express Edition reduces the complexity and cost of managing Microsoft Windows environments, thereby increasing user and IT staff productivity.
Users are easily able to upgrade to the Enterprise Edition of RES PowerFuse 2008 if they wish to expand the maximum number of concurrent users and increase functionality. The Standard Edition (planned for May 2008) offers more than twice the functionality that is available in the Express Edition and increases the maximum number of concurrent users from 100 to 500. The Enterprise Edition (available today) offers five times more functionality compared to the Express Edition and has no limit on the number of concurrent users. Deployments of the Express Edition can be upgraded in place via a license key, with no downtime required.
