The WhatsUp Gold VoIP (Voice over IP) Monitor provides network managers with the ability to monitor, collect and report on the capacity of a network to support and maintain acceptable performance for VoIP call quality. The WhatsUp Gold VoIP Monitor accesses information generated by IP SLA enabled devices to monitor jitter, packet loss, latency and display calculated MOS and ICPIF (Calculated Planning Impairment Factor).
Offered as plug-in technology to the extensible WhatsUp Gold architecture, the VoIP Monitor leverages the core services of WhatsUp Gold to present information on network performance. Customers with combined data andvoice networks can be assured of 360 degree visibility, actionable intelligence and complete control for VoIP.
