On the 6th July 2010 COMPUTERLINKS (UK) Ltd signed a sponsorship agreement providing Goldie Sayers with financial and IT support in her run up to the 2012 Olympics.

The agreement was sealed at COMPUTERLINKS’ Newmarket headquarters, where Goldie was presented with computer equipment to enable her to post regular blogs on her progress and achievements as she trains for, and competes in, major International athletics competitions.  In turn, Newmarket-born Goldie, who broke the British record at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 and is also an experienced motivational speaker, will support COMPUTERLINKS by featuring in promotional materials for its channel marketing campaigns and staff recognition schemes. Goldie used the opportunity today to present the company's quarterly ‘Strongest Link’ Award to COMPUTERLINKS’ support manager, Ross Cunnington . Ross was nominated by colleagues for his dedication, hard work and skill in creating and running a team of 20 multi-lingual support staff across five different locations within the Company’s Global Support Centre.

Commenting on the agreement, Goldie Sayers said, “Blogging is a great way for me to keep in touch with my family, friends and supporters, especially when I’m training or competing overseas. With COMPUTERLINKS’ support, I can now update my blog quickly and easily - wherever I am in the world. It’s great to know there are people back home supporting you – even when you are thousands of miles away.”
